CLAIRA RECEIVES INVESTMENT FROM MICHIGAN RISE

EAST LANSING, Mich. –– Claira, a Grand Rapids-based software company focused on workforce visibility, has secured an investment from Michigan Rise Pre-Seed Fund III. 

Using advanced competency science and artificial intelligence (AI), Claira matches employee and candidate competencies with organizational needs in real time. The company describes its platform as a machine employee that joins organizations, integrates with existing tools and provides answers in seconds. The software analyzes the abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and goals of current and potential employees, creating a “digital twin” of the entire workforce. Claira’s employee management system proactively addresses workforce issues, staffing gaps, and identifies growth opportunities.

The investment from Michigan Rise will be used to further refine the product-market fit, optimize technological capability and reduce customer acquisition costs, with a greater focus on the industrial market.
