Michigan Rise Invests in Promethient, maker of Thermavance™ Climate Control Technology

EAST LANSING, Mich. –– Michigan Rise has added Promethient, Inc. to its growing portfolio in Northern Michigan. Based in Traverse City, Promethient designs and manufactures thermal comfort systems for seating applications in non-automotive use cases, including power sports, aviation, marine, heavy equipment, stadiums and furniture. Promethient’s Thermavance™ technology greatly enhances thermal comfort, even in outdoor applications. The Company is poised for expansion in the public transportation, furniture, and garments industries through this partnership with Michigan Rise.

The investment from Michigan Rise will enable Promethient to accelerate growth in current product lines as well as pursue new markets in the aviation, bus, and rail sectors.
